The ceremony saw the Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the Rector of Namangan State Technical University (NamSTU), Professor Dr. Oybek Ergashev, and the Rector of Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University (SamSACU), Dr. Cigdem Canbay Turkyilmaz.

According to Professor Ts. Dr Yatimah, this meeting was more than just an institutional formality; it was a continuation of an existing relationship.

"UMPSA remains committed to empowering the fields of engineering, technology, and Advanced TVET, while producing graduates who are not only skilled but also adaptive and possess high humanitarian values," she stated.

She further noted that, regarding internationalisation, UMPSA is focusing on strengthening its reputation and global visibility through international strategic collaborations, student and staff mobility, and high-impact joint research.

This partnership serves as a bridge connecting not only institutions but also cultures, ideas, and the future—aligning with UMPSA’s aspiration to produce globally competitive graduates.

The strategic alliance reinforces UMPSA's position as a progressive technical higher education institution, continuing its journey as a global player in the higher education landscape in line with the UMPSA Strategic Plan 2026-2030 agenda.
