UMPSA Strengthens International Network with Two Uzbekistani Universities

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today marked a significant milestone in the internationalisation of higher education by forging strategic partnerships with two institutions from Uzbekistan.
The ceremony saw the Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the Rector of Namangan State Technical University (NamSTU), Professor Dr. Oybek Ergashev, and the Rector of Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University (SamSACU), Dr. Cigdem Canbay Turkyilmaz.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has established a strategic partnership with Central Queensland University (CQUniversity), Australia, through an Exchange and Signing Ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) held recently at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, UMPSA Pekan.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, alongside the Vice-Chancellor and President of CQUniversity, Professor Nick Klomp, and delegations from both institutions.


UMPSA Organises Post-Staff Mobility Best Practices Sharing Convention 2025

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today organised the Post-Staff Mobility Programme Best Practices Sharing Convention, attended by nearly 200 university staff members.
The programme aimed to serve as a platform for the sharing of knowledge, experiences and best practices gained through staff participation in mobility programmes both domestically and abroad.
The convention featured 20 presenters who shared their findings and the impact of their respective mobility programmes through six parallel sessions held in separate rooms.

This collaboration is set to strengthen high-impact research and academic frameworks, with a particular focus on space technology, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, and biodiversity.

UMPSA Global Hosts Delegation from China for Strategic Academic Engagement

The delegation was led by Mr. Liao Wenjun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and included senior representatives from the Department of Science and Technology of Guangxi, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and the Guangxi ASEAN Technology Transfer Center.
